This week started off with quite bang— hurricane Sandy. I was psyched to have a well attended Fine Craft class Monday despite Sandy, and we made a trio of paper art experiments: tissue flowers, origami 2 piece boxes, and a small hand bound sketchbook. I think everyone was happy to have the distraction from the impending weather, and truly psyched with their books, and that they could bind them in just an hour! That very same day I did an earring making workshop at Why Not Wine – We cancelled the 6pm workshop, but kept the 4:30 one— good times had by all. I’m doing a few private workshop events the next few weeks, but still plan to have another public wine tasting/craft class sometime in the very near future over at Why Not Wine, perhaps as soon as December!
